"1955 Private First Day Cover from Puket to U.S.A. affixed with set of “Red Cross 2498” 25st.-1b.(#378-80) set of 3 values, tied by PUKET cds dated 1.4.98. On reverse bearing BANGKOK G.P.O. transit slogan cancellation dated 19 APR 1955. Upper left corner typed wording “FIRST DAY COVER/1-4-1955.” but in “110 Years of Thai Postage Stamps” by the Communications Authoriry of Thailand states that this issue was on sale between 3-30 April 1955. So “PUKET Post Office” sold this Issue 2 days ahead of official date of issuance. Fine. F.(1) "
